Departments and Academic Program

Our bilingual curriculum is supported in seven areas (Personal-Social and Emotional, Physical, Communication and Language, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design). It is delivered in both Turkish and English using contemporary methods and activities.

Children start English-based education from the age of 2, and by the time they are 5, they develop fluent English speaking skills and, considering their developmental characteristics, acquire reading and basic writing skills in Turkish.

Understanding the World: This course follows the principle of moving from the near to the far, helping children adapt to their surroundings, recognize the cultural and social structures of the society, create awareness of the world we live in, respect differences, and acquire behaviors necessary for social life.

Turkish Language Activity: This activity not only supports language development but also helps children use language correctly to express their emotions and thoughts while improving comprehension and listening skills. Literacy skills are also supported through play.

Specific English: This course content is specifically designed in English to teach the skills required for daily life and academic learning in line with the curriculum.

French: In line with the curriculum, this course focuses on skills required for daily life and academic learning in the French language.

Mathematics: Mathematical concepts such as patterns, addition-subtraction, problem-solving, and mathematical inquiry skills are developed.

Visual Arts: Students explore different techniques and materials, learning about lines, shapes, colors, and textures, and expressing their feelings and thoughts through original art creations.

Music: This course includes activities such as sound recognition, rhythm exercises, breath and voice training, singing, creative movement and dance, moving to music, and creating musical stories. The Orff method is actively used, and musical instruments are introduced.

Play and Movement/Physical Education: The goal is to instill correct posture habits through games, develop fundamental motor skills in stages (walking, running, jumping, crawling, balancing, lifting and carrying light objects), and enhance psycho-social abilities.

ICT – Robotics and Coding: In this class, students are guided to use technology correctly and effectively. Lessons that support learning through fun activities are conducted, including coding classes supported by Cubetto and tablets.

Yoga-Mandala-Mindfulness:

Yoga: Personal discipline, breathing, and relaxation techniques, as well as yoga poses, are taught to students through songs and games.

Mandala: This is a journey of discovery that involves personal creativity, enhanced awareness, and spiritual development. It increases students' concentration, self- confidence, and patience, while clearing their minds, enriching their imagination, and significantly improving their creativity.

Mindfulness (Conscious Awareness): Topics such as observation and concentration, body and five-sense awareness, patience, trust, acceptance, managing emotions, and compassion towards oneself and others form the foundation of mindfulness education. The program includes breathing exercises, meditation, stories, and movement, with a focus on "Privacy Education" to raise students' awareness of body integrity.

Drama: An activity that makes the learning process more effective, allowing students to learn by doing and experiencing, fostering creativity and productivity, and helping them form positive social relationships while expressing events through verbal and non-verbal communication, including role-playing.

Intelligence Games: This course supports the development of strategy-building, planning, logical reasoning and integration, visual-spatial thinking, unconventional thinking, attention, concentration, memory, and recall skills.

Science Workshop: In this class, students are provided with opportunities to experiment, predict, make mistakes, observe, ask questions, solve problems, research, and explore. The main goal of these activities is to develop scientific thinking skills and raise individuals who, in their future lives, are curious, ask "why" and "how" questions, and want to understand and learn about the world.

Life Skills: This course supports the skills necessary for students to live independently and maintain a high-quality life.
